Folder: S.F. Streets-Maiden Lane-1940's.
Written on back: "Hundreds of smartly dressed men and women crowd Maiden Lane, a famous short and narrow thorofare (sic) in downtown San Francisco, to officially welcome Spring and begin a three day celebration in its honor March 31. Spring flowers were featured by narrow store fronts and were strung overhead to lend color to the affair. New spring outfits were very much in order.".
