Mission Street is the northern terminus of the well known El Camino Real (US #101) which extends from Los Angeles to San Francisco. It carries not only a large number of tourists entering San Francisco but a substantial percentage of suburban residents from San Mateo, Burlingame, Millbrae and other peninsula cities to the south who commute regularly into San Francisco. This bulletin is passed by the Mission Street bus line, which traverses the entire length of Mission Street from Daly City on the south through the bustling Mission shopping district to the Ferry Building, passing the Greyhound Bus Depot, the San Francisco Bay Bridge train terminal and the US Post Office en route. This bulletin is unobstructed and enjoys an approach of over 800'. This bulletin faces south to traffic incoming to downtown San Francisco.".
