Newscopy: "The News' Mr. Fixit shares the pleasure of motorists using the intersection of Woodside-av and O'Shaughnessy-blvd with Portola-dr over imminent completion of a new traffic safety installation designed to save lives. In photo above, Jack Pressy is working at a control box for new three-way traffic lights which will be in operation within a week. Signal-actuating bar in pavement (indicated by arrow at left) will stop Portola-dr traffic, permitting free crossing, when autos approaching intersection make contact with it. At all other times, cars on Portola will constitute through traffic."
