When Raymond lived in Los Angeles, he made a trip to New York City in October 1971 and photos include Raymond dressed as Peter Pan on a New York City subway and attending a Halloween costumed event and party. Photos in the album document 1972 Tricycle Race in front of The Mint on Market Street, the Renaissance Faire in 1973, Dames at Sea performance, Empress competition, Gay Community Awards at California Hall in December 1973 (p. 99), 1974 Tricycle Race in front of Club Dori, 1974 Gay Freedom Day, Grand Duchess II competition and Grand Duchess Coronation in the Crystal Room of the Bellevue Hotel, Beaux Arts Ball at the Hyatt Regency Hotel.
