Donor description: Donor's mother and father on their wedding day. The donor's mother was the only family member not to be interned. She worked with the Owl- Office of War and Information. The office was moved to Boulder, Colorado, where she was working. His father went to Boulder to marry his mother. Her parents and family were in Topaz, Utah, and his family was in Jerome, Arkansas (an internment camp there). Picture was taken January 22, 1944. Yoritada and Chiyo in Denver, Colorado (the donor's parents).
