Newscopy: San Francisco's new Youth Guidance Center (light buildings) on Woodside avenue near Portola drive faces delay in opening from the scheduled July 1 to early September due to a snarl of construction problems. Cottages of the center can be seen behind and at left of the main building. The $4,351,000 center when finished will replace present antiquated quarters at 150 Otis street. Site difficulties, bad weather and architectural changes caused delay. --Call-Bulletin Photograph.
