Note
Newscopy: BIRDS-EYE and worms-eye views are captured by the lens of News Call Bulletin cameraman Sid Tate at the new Fairmont Towers on Nob Hill. In photo above is San Francisco as seen by a "high iron" worker on the structural framework of the towers. Just to the right of Tate's left foot is Powell St., looking south; above the toe is the new Hall of Justice. Below the I-beam at upper right can be seen the Clift Hotel. Cable in center suspends beam on which Tate was standing. And for the other viewpoint (lower photo) Tate descended into a manhole to snap the towers as seen by one who might have that lowdown feeling after a night on the town.
