Note
Newscopy: READY FOR FANTASY.--Most famous women writers are particular when they pose for photographs. They must don their nicest clothes, look sophisticated and primp carefully. Not Mrs. Kathleen Norris. As natural and unaffected as the people who read her novels, Mrs. Norris is shown here as "The Mama Cat," the role she'll play in a pageant the night of Sept. 13, 14 and 15 at Los Gatos. The entertainment, described as "a fantasy of feline lore and fairy tale character," will also include some Los Gatos history. Mrs. Norris is a resident of Saratoga, near Los Gatos, which, incidentally, means "The Cats" in Spanish. So, in case you may have wondered, that's why "The Three Little Kittens Who Lost Their Mittens" will be one of the features of the pageant.
