Description

The leather-bound album includes 32 gelatin silver prints documenting Golden Gate Park at the turn of the 20th century. The photographs depict activities including bicycling, polo, and baseball. The buildings include the Conservatory, McLaren Lodge, exterior and interior of the Fine Arts Museum and Sharon Building. The views comprise of the Alvord Lakelet, sand dunes, bison, and various landscaped elements of the park.
