Text from negative sleeve: "Iowa State band is giving a concert on the slope to the bay. The short soldier nearest to the camera, with the broad campaign hat on is one of the Throw boys (Frank) who was with Company M. At the moment this picture was taken, someone was making a present of a big horn to the leader of the band."
