Newscopy: "HE'S STILL FOR WALLACE--Washington, D.C.--Harry Bridges, president of the CIO Longshoremen's Union, is shown as he talked with newsmen at a press conference yesterday in Washington. He said that the CIO executive board's opposition to as third party was virtually a 'left-handed endorsement of President Truman' and that 'the democrats don't have a chance of a snowball in hell of winning this election.' However, Bridges added, his union will continue to support the CIO Political Action Committee, but it will push for Henry Wallace in California.".
