Cip Ayalin took the photo because he noticed they/he didn't have any photos of this couple. Alex is now deceased. Lourdes is still living (May 2017) with her daughter on the East Coast. Cip and Alex traded services: Cip took photographs and Alex ran ads for Cip's photo studio.
