All requests for permission to publish from photographs must be submitted in writing to the Photo Curator. Permission for publication is given on behalf of the San Francisco Public Library as the owner of the physical items.

As you approach this San Francisco intersection (Fourth and Bryant streets), you will have only one thing to do. Keep driving straight ahead. Going over the Bay Bridge? Turn right, a sign says. But wait! A sign across the corner indicates Bryant is a one-way street left (east, that is). Another sign blocking your way 'confirms' this. You can't stop in the intersection, either, brother.
