Newscopy: "Mrs. Margaret E. Thomson, vigorous pro-pigeon fighter in the pigeon-Mayor Robinson dispute ('Pigeons must go,' he ordered), demonstrates humane anti-pigeon device developed here. 'This one's all right with me,' said Mrs. Thomson. Slats, similar to venetian blinds, won't support pigeon, and noise of slat snapping back into place gives them another scare, forces them away from edge of building."
