Newscopy: "If this picture had a sound track you would hear a low moaning noise from the City Hall in the background. That would be Mayor Elmer E. Robinson, pigeon eradicator supreme, who looked out his window this morning to see no less than 40 pigeons being released in Civic Center. Don't fret, mayor, he was advised. The birds were carrier pigeons, and they're getting out of town fast with invitations to mayors of 40 other cities, bidding them to attend the March 2-11 Sportsmen's Show at Civic Auditorium."
