Newscopy: "San Francisco is having its face lifted, with huge construction projects under way almost everywhere. The addition to Parkmerced, above, with its towering cement elevators, will house 9200 persons in 11 13-story apartment buildings. There'll be 12 family units on each floor. Total cost is 30 million, and the project, now about 20 percent complete, is to be opened next year."
