Newscopy: "This air view shows San Francisco's new foreign trade zone, officially chartered yesterday by Secy. of Commerce W. Averill Harriman. It is located at the western half of Pier 45, adjacent to Fisherman's Wharf. Goods can be shipped to the pier for processing or trans-shipment, and duty is paid when they leave the pier. Other such zones are in New York and New Orleans."
