Newscopy: "MISSION ROCK AS IT IS DESIGNED it shall look when new improvements, announced yesterday, are completed. Wooden shacks, which have clung to the rock for a half century, are to be torn down for a $7,000,000 terminal which will handle a half dozen steamers at one time and house all kinds of produce and perishables needing refrigeration. A syndicate, headed by Henry S. Scott, purchased the rock for $300,000."; "BIGGEST HARBOR IMPROVEMENT.- This is an artists conception of the $4,500,000 eight-berth ship terminal planned by the State Board of Harbor Commissioners for Mission Rock, connecting Pier 50. It will be the city's biggest harbor improvement in years. This drawing was made in 1924, but present con-construction (sic) plans are similar."
