Newscopy: "120 TONS AN HOUR-Cargill, Inc., which operates a copra (dried coconut meat) terminal here, recently expanded its ship unloading facilities on Pier 84 to nearly double former capacity. Two conveyer belts, shown above foreground and inclined from the left, help increase the unloading rate. They were developed by B. F. Goodrich Company with a special synthetic rubber covering that resists the corrosive coconut oil.".
