Newscopy: "SAWED-IN-HALF MANSION STARTS JOURNEY. Half of a 60-year-old mansion, being moved to Tiburon from 1818 Broadway, passes through the intersection at Buchanan and Beach sts., during first part of the operation yesterday. The two sections were inched to Marina Green where they will be rolled onto a railroad barge tonight. Tomorrow morning the barge will be towed to West Shore rd. in Belvedere. The mansion was moved to make way for a million luxury apartment house."
