Newscopy: "SIGNIFICANT of the resurgence of ship building in the Bay Area is activity at the San Francisco shipyard of Bethlehem Pacific Steel Corp. Here's a view of a giant tanker construction. Bethlehem is building four of them, at $10 million each. Shipyard also has a $29 million contract for two 13,000-ton American President Lines cargo liners, to be started next year. Bethlehem is also converting Navy cruiser Oklahoma City to a guided missile warship. All told, the yard has about $75 million in contracts for completion by Aug., 1960."
