Newscopy: "The Municipal Railway is equipping streetcars and buses with flags that have nothing to do with patriotism. They're white, 11 by 11 inches, and will be flown by any operator seeking help to combat terrorism and vandalism by juvenile riders. Experimentally, the flags will be provided for vehicles operating out of the Ocean Division. If they prove effective, all Muni vehicles will be so equipped.".
