Folder: S.F. Transportation-Steam Cars. Newscopy: "Remember the horse and buggy days song "On the Dummy Line?" This may have contributed to the song and story of the period, for it's a picture of the old dummy line that ran along Baker st. in 1900. They probably disguised an engine as an innocent cab so the horses wouldn't be frightened." On back: "L. S. Slevin, Carmel, Cal. Steam dummy, Baker St. 1900".
