Newscopy: "Ten persons were imperiled and severely shaken today when a heavily laden truck crashed into the street car on Alemany boulevard and San Bruno avenue, imprisoning the passengers. Ambulance stewards and volunteers were forced to chop through the jammed doors of the car, which had been crushed out of shape, in order to free the passengers. Vincent Iugo, driver of the truck, narrowly escaped death, incurring only bruises, when the cab of the truck collapsed and trapped him."
