The recently completed structure has nearly two acres of glasses in its outside walls."
On back: "This magnificent $2,500,000 Ordnance and Optical Shop Building is the latest thing in shore facilities of the U. S. Navy, and will be dedicated this coming Sunday, October 31, as part of the San Francisco Naval Shipyard open house ceremonies. Designed by Ernest J. Kump, architect, and Mark Falk, structural engineer, both of San Francisco, the building has nearly two acres of glass along the outside walls. Shipyard people call it, 'The Glass House'."
