SAN FRANCISCO: Honoring units of the Japanese fleet currently visiting here, a Japanese Naval ensign flies atop Headquarters Bldg., of the Western Sea Frontier at Treasure Island 9/12. This is probably the first time since before World War II that a Japanese military flag has flown over an American military establishment. The Honor Guard in foreground, displaying United States flag, is at attention for Admiral Hidemi Yoshida of the Japanese fleet, who was in the building.
