Newscopy: "Marking a new milestone in San Francisco's boulevard system, the Funston avenue approach to the Golden Gate bridge was within sight of its goal today. With completion of the new road, Sunset, Parkside and Park-Presidio district residents will have access to a high-speed highway to both the Marina and the Golden Gate bridge. Above (right) is the arterial by which motorists will leave Funston avenue to go to the Marina and downtown."
