Folder: S.F. Colleges-S.F. College for Women-Exteriors. Newscopy on back: "The city has a new landmark - a 25-foot tall stainless steel spire atop the almost completed chapel at San Francisco College for Women on Lone Mountain. The cross was put in place today by Michel & Pfeffer Iron Works, Inc. The chapel, to be completed in four or five months, will seat 550. It was made possible by a $250,000 gift of an anonymous benefactor. It's part of a $4 million development, including a new dormitory, little theater, prom room, infirmary and quarters for the faculty. -- News Call Bulletin Photograph"
