Written on attached note: "A DRESS REHEARSAL. Rescuing persons overcome by smoke will be one of the many features of the great fire demostration in the Exposition Auditorium Saturday night when the firemen stage their annual benefit show and ball for their widows and orphans funds. With the use of gas masks they carry out the victims of smoke and fumes. Members of Engine 29 are seen aiding a comrade make a safe landing from a basement fire."
