Newscopy: "The smoke of an old memory getting in their eyes. A group on the beach in December, 1907 [sic], watching the Cliff House burning. It was a fine fire, visable at sea for miles and the whole bay district mourned the passing of the famous rendevous. Old-timers would never know the old site now."
