Newscopy: "THE SS HOPE COMES HOME TO SAN FRANCISCO. Ten years ago the hospital ship Consolation was in Korean waters on a mission of mercy in a time of war. Now renamed the SS Hope, she will return to the Asian scene next month, again on a mission of mercy but thankfully in a time of peace. On a unique, first-time-ever voyage to Indonesia and Viet Nam, her American doctor and nurse teams will treat the sick and share their knowledge and skills with the local medics."
