Written on back: "Free gardenias were passed out to all comers as Spring came to Maiden Lane, a famous downtown San Francisco street, March 31. The coming of warm weather set off a three day celebration in its honor with Maiden Lane, featuring hundreds of gaily clad people and flower decorated store fronts the center of attraction.".
