Note
Newscopy: NEW TOKENS--Which OPA will distribute to retail grocers and butchers for use after Feb. 27 were in town today and on deposit at banks. The light-weight little red and blue disks shown by Editha O'Dwyer, each with a value of one point, will be used to make change from ration coupons in what OPA claims is a great simplification of rationing for both grocer and customer. After that date ration coupons will each be valued at 10 points, regardless of number or letter, and will be valid for much longer periods. Purchases less than 10 even points in meat or processed food will be made with the new plastic tokens.
