Handwritten on backside of photo: "Dot & Ted friend. We had Rocky in for dinner two weeks in our mezz. This is the third time in two years. Judge Molinari, Solly Schman, John La Torre, Rocky, Joe P. , Johnny Russo, Murray Oakland fight promotion, Thomas etc. Seems at this get together of close friends appeared Rocky was decided on living in California & of course who knows lot of boxing would be shown in SF. The whole gang went for a walk around the corner with Joe Scoma (Bartender) whom looks like Rocky. Imagine the minute Rocky walks in, where’s the kid, the bartender, the champ of the world missing someone. Here goes all yours. Love, Joe Paoli."
