Newscopy: Robert Stack, star of the film "Eagle Squadron," which comes to the Orpheum screen next week, looks at one of the Range Finders now being given free to members of The News Junior Aviators. The "finders" determine the altitude of planes and can be obtained by possessors of Junior Aviator membership cards at The News office. Robert Stack, who plays the leading role opposite Diana Barrymore in the new Walter Wanger film at Universal, "Eagle Squadron," inspects the latest idea for Young America -- a range finder for aircraft. By squinting through the glass enclosed inside the oblong box, and training it on a plane in flight, you can tell the altitude of the plane and how far away it is.
