The Haight Ashbury archive is a reference collection housed at Park Branch Library. In an effort that began more than 20 years ago and with support from the Friends of SFPL, librarians Darice Murray-McKay and Susan Lester collected books, newsletters, clippings, photo albums, posters, and oral histories describing many aspects of the 1960s counterculture movement in San Francisco and the Bay Area.
